This utility is designed to make the renaming of thousands, hundreds of thousands or millions of files a simplicity. The unlicensed version only allows you to rename 10 files.
Simply choose the folder containing your files and the destination folder for the renamed files and press go. [This utility will move and rename the files, so if you want to keep the originals, then backup that original folder first].
The renamed files will be named whatever you decide to call them (New Name for files text box) plus a unique identifier number: file1, file2, file3 etc.
You can start the unique identifier range at whatever you choose. Click the (no of files in folder) text box to see how many files there are in your folder and then click the (+) sign to automatically view the range end-point.
